Day 4 #liftupforlent
Send an old-fashioned, handwritten note or card by snail mail to someone who is struggling. Just let them know that you are thinking about them and took the time to trot out your cursive writing skills. (You can always print. My cursive is illegible and would render the exercise useless.)
A handwritten note means that you were willing to actually pause your life long enough to write down your thoughts, place them in an envelope, search out an actual address and a stamp and get the letter to a post box. It lets the person know that you are invested in their lives. And that is, indeed, encouraging.
