Make a plan to celebrate someone. It doesn’t have to be a big surprise party, just something that honors and observes someone else’s victory or accomplishment.
Take a friend out for coffee to congratulate her on that new promotion
Send a note when someone reaches a milestone–a year on the job, six months smoke-free, a fitness goal reached or a sales record achieved.
Drop off a small bouquet of flowers/bowl of candy/little gift to celebrate an achievement.
If your budget allows, schedule a time to do something a friend enjoys to celebrate a personal victory–a round of golf, a gourmet cooking class, a hike on a new trail, a day at the lake/river/beach
It is very encouraging to know that your friends celebrate with you (instead of being jealous of you) when something great happens in your life.
