Day 38 #liftupforlent

It’s coming up on graduation season. Young people all over the country will be wrapping up a phase of their lives and moving on to something new.  Perhaps you know of adults who are getting ready to embark on a new thing–a new job, a promotion, a marriage, a child. Anytime you start something new, there is excitement, but there is also apprehension.

Getting encouragement in advance of starting something new can make all the difference.

“I know you’re going to be a great dad.”

“I can see why they hired you. You’re going to do a terrific job.”

“You are going to love college. I think you’ve chosen exactly the right one for you.”

So keep up with what’s going on in the lives of family, friends and colleagues. And be ready with encouragement when they are at the start of something new.

I can’t talk about starting something new without this popping into my head. You’re welcome.
