Lin-Manuel Miranda’s book Gmorning and Gnight: Little Pep Talks for Your and Me came out this week. It’s a collection of the little inspiration “talks” he posts on his Twitter account. Here’s an example:

This may be just for me but the second season of Midnight, Texas starts tonight. The title is from a lesser-known series of books from Arkansas’s own creator of Sookie Steakhouse, Charlaine Harris. I have to say I like NBC’s adaptation of this series far better than what HBO did with True Blood. And for those who follow the Marvel series on Netflix, the next season of Daredevil is out with some serious resurrection themes.
Get some rest, have some fun, talk to God, connect with people in person and get renewed this weekend. We all have much work to do, but if we don’t take care of ourselves and tend to our souls, our ability to change the world is definitely diminished.
