Every Friday, Doubting Believer likes to bring you things to read, watch or listen to that are sure to make you smile. Because we all could use a little good news.

For those who have been following the story of Tani Adewumi, the young refugee chess champion, there continues to be good news. Not only has there been an outpouring of financial support for the previously homeless Adewumi family, the family is paying it forward by establishing a foundation for other families who don’t have a chess prodigy and need assistance.

We can all get frustrated and fed-up with technology, but here’s a reminder that tech can be great in the hands of innovators who use technology to make people’s lives better.
