I’ve never shared a Kickstarter campaign in this space, but I just thought this was such a cool idea for people with dementia. My experience with people living with memory loss is that items, images and music from the past can be healing and calming and joy-filling for folks. Inspired by her great-grandmother, this young woman has found a way to combine them all. This is not a product endorsement, but a celebration those who are are innovating new ways to make life better for others.
This shouldn’t be feel good news, because it should just be how humans behave, but today a community who helps a young Muslim far from home find a place to pray is good news indeed.
Get some rest, do something fun, connect with people in real life and spend some time with God this weekend. Make renewal a priority so that you are able to be the person God calls you to be. Take care of yourself. The world needs you.
