In Charlotte, two brothers who make sandwiches donate family land to help with the affordable housing crisis. Thanks for Rev. Erika Funk for sharing this story of creative generosity.


Drag Queen Story Hours are breaking out at libraries and bookstores across the country. Why should this make us feel good? 1) Drag Queens are awesome. 2) At a time when suicides among LGBTQ youth are on the rise, seeing people who know what it means to embrace who you are and celebrate could literally be the difference between life and death. 3) It’s a chance for people to meet drag queens in person. It’s so much easier to hate an idea or concept than it is to hate a real person.


It’s the second Sunday in June, and every theater geek knows what that means–The Tony Awards! Heres a look at seven of the nominated songs all in one place.

Get some rest, do something fun, connect with people in real life and spend some time with God this weekend. Make renewal a priority so that you are able to be the person God calls you to be. Take care of yourself. The world needs you.
