Feel Good Friday is really tough this week. So many awful things have happened, it seems wrong to even try to feel good. But it is on weeks like these that we need to be reminded more than ever that there are people doing good things, and we still have the capacity to smile and laugh.


Thanks be to God. Cyntonia Brown has been released after 15 years in prison.


Y’all, it’s a donkey beauty contest. Seriously.

In the mountainous villages of Morocco, the numbers of donkeys are falling. No longer considered essential because of agricultural mechanisation, villagers are finding new uses for them. So a local festival in the village of Beni Ammar Zerhoun offers donkey racing and a beauty contest to promote the animals as a tourist attraction.


An eleven-year-old boy has created the #ElPasoChallenge to honor the victims and call upon all of us to do 20 good deeds for one another.


And to bring us some joy in a world that is so very broken, God sent us Lizzo.
