Feel Good Friday #68
Every week Doubting Believer brings you things to read, watch or listen to that are sure to make you smile. Because we all could use a little good news.
Had to share this one. Even though there a quite a few good people across the country stepping in to help pay off school lunch debt, it’s rare that a story that begins “Florida man” is filled with good news.
This is a personal feel good that dropped yesterday. It’s a compilation of my fav John Mulaney moments on Late Night with Seth Myers. Perhaps it will make you feel good as well.
Tuesday was National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Actor James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberly, revealed their own struggle with pregnancy loss while announcing that they are expecting a sixth (!). The feel good part of this story is that the more people talk about such a loss, the more those who experience it do no seem alone. Representation matters in all things–including grief and loss.
One of my bucket list items is to sing one time with Choir! Choir! Choir! Here is their tribute to the late Ric Ocasek.
Get some rest, do something fun, connect with people in real life and spend some time with God this weekend. Make renewal a priority so that you are able to be the person God calls you to be. Take care of yourself. The world needs you.
