Feel Good Friday #84
Every week Doubting Believer brings you things to read, watch or listen to that are sure to make you smile. Because we all could use a little good news.
My husband is a fan of just about all the sports, but he closely follows German soccer, and Dortmund is his team. Recently a player who played at Dortmund for many years, but is wrapping up his career at another club, was honored by the Dortmund fans after playing against his former team. BTW: Nevin Subotic isn’t even a native born German. Stuff like this might make a sports fan out of me, yet.
I don’t care who you were rooting for during the Super Bowl, this is adorable. A Kansas City hospital dressed up their babies to celebrate.
Omigosh, I LOVE a good singalong. Look what happened when one voice started singing Living on A Prayer. Everybody just had to join in. I hope this sort of thing catches on. Start singing out loud the next time you’re in public and see if it starts something! Let me know how it goes.
Good news, y’all. Compassion can be taught. There is hope for us all.
Get some rest, do something fun, connect with people in real life and spend some time with God this weekend. Make renewal a priority so that you are able to be the person God calls you to be. Take care of yourself. The world needs you.
