Feel Good Friday #90
Ninety weeks of Feel Good Friday! And in spite of how crazy and scary the world has gotten, people are going out of their way to bring us things to make us feel good.
First off, shout out to all my clergy and religious educator peeps who are doing awesome things on Zoom, YouTube and Facebook. There’s never been more progressive, inclusive Jesus people bringing you the Good News online.
Many of our favorite artists from the Indigo Girls to Willie Nelson to John Legend are giving us live performances via Facebook and YouTube. Here is Yo Yo Ma bringing us songs of comfort.
This awesome priest is Dancing in the Moonlight for our entertainment
Jimmy Fallon and Lin Manuel Miranda are lifting our spirits from their respective homes. (Stephen Colbert is also broadcasting from various locations in his home, from his bathtub to his back porch.)
Since the aquarium is closed, the penguins are getting their own tour in Chicago.
Josh Gad (Frozen’s Olaf) and a myriad of other actors are reading to your children online.
Laugh daily. Remember how much you are loved. Stay safe and calm. The world needs you.
