Feel Good Friday #96

Every week Doubting Believer brings you things to read, watch or listen to that are sure to make you smile. Because we all could use a little good news.

Full disclosure: this mother-daughter mask-making duo are friends of mine, and I’m so proud of the work they have done during this crisis. They’ve made (as of the latest count I received) over 700 masks for personnel at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Check out their story here.

Just an update on Captain Tom’s birthday fundraising efforts. He turned 100 yesterday, just as his efforts topped $39 million dollars. This man knows how to do life.

I’m always on the lookout for good things that are coming out of the crisis, and a new study shows that for many Americans, it has deepened their faith.

Lots of celebrities have been sharing special performances online, but this special edition of Rainbow Connection (a staple song in our house) is one of my faves. See Kermit below and here the songwriter tell how it came about here.

Get some rest.
