Feel Good Friday #98–People Finding Fun edition
Every week Doubting Believer brings you things to read, watch or listen to that are sure to make you smile. Because we all could use a little good news.
There is no denying that we are living through a serious time that is bringing hardship, struggles and grief to our country and our world. But in times like these, it is all the more important to find opportunities for play, fun and joy. Today’s Feel Good Friday is a salut to those who are doing just that.
This is my favorite social media trend right now–grandparents dancing on TikTok with their grandkids.
This Michigan family put a Monty Python inspired sign in their yard a couple of weeks ago to encourage a little silliness in this serious time. Now they’re popping up everywhere. If I had a front yard right now, I would totally put up on of these signs and then just sit back and watch.
Banana bread is SO April 2020. The hottest new trend in baking is Froggy Bread.
Germans love their nightclubs–which have been closed since mid-March. Innovators that they are, a DJ duo out of Duesseldorf (where our family lived for two years) have created the drive-in rave.
Have some fun.
Talk to God.
Connect with people over the phone or online.
Find time to rest, relax and renew this weekend.
