Feel Good Friday #99
Ninety-nine! Ninety-nine weeks of uninterrupted Feel Good Fridays! For those of you who are into numbers, that means next week is #100. To celebrate, I want to know what’s making you happy right now–in a time when it’s harder than ever to find ways to be happy.
Over the next week, send me in words, photos or videos of things that are making you happy right now. You can email me at email@example.com.
Best Forts Ever
Just about the time you’re running out of stuff to do with your kids at home and online school is coming to an end, IKEA brings you instructions for six different blanket forts that you can build in your own living room!
Captain Tom now Sir Tom
For those of you who have been following the adventures of the delightful centenarian Captain Tom, who raised over 1 million pounds for the National Health System, please refer to him as Sir Tom from here on out. He has been knighted!
Text Our Heroes
Compassionate Text allows you to text frontline medical workers to let them know how much they are appreciated. While a text may seem insignificant, remember to never, ever, ever underestimate the power of an encouraging word.
Can’t Stop the Music
I graduated from Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where it is a tradition for the ensemble choir to sing at graduation. Back in the old days, we sang Michael W. Smith’s Friends and ended with a benediction of The Lord Bless You and Keep You. (Yes, it was a public school). This year, the singers were not going to abandon the singing tradition. A beautiful arrangement of For Good from the musical Wicked is this year’s choice.
Have some fun.

Find time to rest, relax and renew this weekend.
Take care you yourself. This world needs you.
