Feel Good Friday #113
Every week Doubting Believer brings you things to read, watch or listen to that are sure to make you smile. Because we all could use a little good news.
Another really hard week to come up with good news to share. The hurt and heartache happening in our world is overwhelming. There is much work to be done and so much that feels out of our control. But that means it is more important than ever to be reminded that good things are happening, good people are at work and as bad as things seem, there is much good in our world. And of course, God is good…all the time.
Wolverines return to Mount Rainer National Park for the first time in 100 years. One hundred years! Welcome back, wolverines.
Feeding the Masses
The damage done by windstorms in Iowa didn’t receive the national media attention it should have garnered, but Iowans have been hard at work cleaning up and tending to the needs of their neighbors who have been affected. This BBQ shack has been providing 400 free meals a day for those impacted by the storm.
Walking the Walk
The owner of cult spice favorite Penzy’s Spices believes Blacks Lives Matter. In Minneapolis and now in Kenosha, he’s okay losing business and product to support it.
Get some rest.
Connect with people you love.
Have some fun.
Take radically good care of yourself. This weary world needs you.
