Grateful for Life Lessons

Recently in our Grateful While Grounded Facebook group (which gives a prompt each day to allow members to say what they are grateful for) we asked the group to share a life lesson they are grateful to have learned.

There was to much wisdom there not to share some it here.

This, too, shall pass.

Sometimes the best response is silence.

When someone says “Don’t Look” – don’t. When someone says “Smell this” – don’t do this either.

The best you can do is to make sincere apologies after you make a mistake. However it is received is not on you.

Reacting to provocation is a choice.

Think before you speak.

You don’t have to tell everything you know.

Sleep on it before responding.

It should be noted that several have said, while grateful to have learned these lessons, they are still learning to live them out. Aren’t we all?
