Hold On

Lawd, y’all.

Here we are in a New Year. A new beginning. A fresh start.

But it doesn’t seem like all that much as changed, does it?

We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we’re not there yet. If you feel your faith faltering, remember that a faith that struggles with questions is always stronger than one that never asks any.

We’re all going to have to hold on a little longer, so here’s a little music and scripture inspo to help.

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.

Psalm 107:28-30

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand

Isaiah 41:10
