Faith at Home: Finding God in Everyday Places and Spaces

I am a big believer in community when it comes to nurturing our faith. I believe that the Christian life is meant to be lived out in community. Jesus called 12 disciples. The early church gathered together to pray and learn. For we trinitarians, God actually dwells in community as the three-in-one.

But…

If you only nurture your faith life when you are in community (in church, Bible study, prayer group, small group), you are missing out on an essential truth of a life of faith–our faith life IS our every day life. It’s not something that happens at certain times or on certain days. We are people of faith all day every day.

Some of you have strong spiritual disciplines that work well for you, but I’m hearing from a lot of you that it is a struggle to find a consistent faith practice that you do on your own. Time has is a big factor for some. Just not knowing where to start is a stumbling block for others.

So I created this resource to help you link scripture and faith to the spaces and places you occupy every day.

This is not a one-and-done Bible study. It’s a resource you can return to again and again when you need a refresher and a reminder. Return to it when you’re having trouble connecting with God. Review it when you need a reminder that God is in the midst of it all from the absolutely crucial to the positively mundane.

If you want to be more present to the places God shows up in your daily life, then this resource is for you. I hope you’ll check out.
